The Dominic Duval Fund

In life, there are 'Hellos' and 'GoodByes'. Unfortunately, we are writing to you here today to inform you that it has come time to say goodbye to our loved one, Dominic Drwal aka Dominic Duval Senior.
As some of you may know, Dominic has been battling a rare case of lymphoma known as Mycosis Fungoides for some years now. After only receiving a few rounds of chemotherapy (which he was unable to continue consistently due to other health issues which had him in and out of the hospital for months prior) the disease has finally taken one more turn for the worse.
Sadly, the lymphoma has progressed to the point to which it has greatly affected his CNS (central nervous system- which only happens in the rarest of cases of this particular disease). WIth this, we have seen a rapid loss (in only a matter of weeks) of motor skill functions, as well as diminished neurological function, which at this point, has left him bed ridden unable to move or barely speak, awaiting the inevitable.
Rather than keep him in a hospital where he would continue to be tested or potentially treated with fatal/aggressive forms of chemotherapy injections directly to the brain, we as his family have made the decision to move him to a beautiful hospice facility close to home, where he will comfortably and calmly spend his final days surrounded by loved ones.
It is during this difficult time that we as his family both humbly and graciously ask for any help that you may be able to provide during this time of need.
We thank you in advance from the bottom of our hearts. Truthfully, we are in no way prepared (emotionally or financially) to face the loss that is about to come.
Please know that any help you may provide will go a long way in making sure his final wishes are met to the best of our abilities.
With love,
The Drwal Family
