Aim high mom. Saturday, November 4th, at 11:30 am, mom is now without pain, there is no longer any suffering. She has earned her angel wings. She has taken a huge piece of us with her, but she has made us be the best we can be. As broken as we are right now, we are stronger because of her strength. Words cannot describe how much we love our mom, and we aren’t quite sure how we will get through this. We have each other and that has been a blessing. We appreciate each and everyone of your thoughts, prayers and donations. They have truly helped us through this difficult time and the donations will help with the funeral.

On Tuesday October 24th our mom had a hemorrhagic brain bleed. Over night the bleed got worse and she needed surgery to relieve the pressure on her brain. They had to remove the left side of her skull to do this. Right now we can only pray that she will not have any further bleeding. We are unsure of the future, but we are holding onto hope and prayers that we have a good outcome.
Update on mom, today is October 26th, we found out that due to the damage caused by mom’s bleed to the left side of her brain it caused it to push it to the right. The swelling went down minimally, but there is still blood where there shouldn’t be in the tissue of the brain. The damage has caused paralysis of the right side of her body. Also, she will most likely never open her eyes. She won’t be able to swallow, so she will need a feeding tube. If she can’t breathe on her own after being taken off the ventilator, they will have to put in a tracheotomy. Now with this information, we are praying for a miracle, but we are stuck in reality as well. We were not given an actual prognosis, but we know what our mother would want. We are broken and destroyed at the thought of what this means. Our vibrant, amazing, kick ass mom would want more from life. We will hold onto hope and faith that her pure stubbornness shines through and she kicks this stroke in the butt! Continued prayers are appreciated and always welcomed. We love our mom and we can’t even think of our life without her.
Thank you for all the prayers and donations.
