Update Friday, July 29th
Thank you, EVERYONE for the calls, texts and emails asking about Bonnie.
It has been a very busy Month
Bonnie has had good and bad days; she was admitted to the Hospital about 3 weeks ago and couldn't stop throwing up. She had a bacteria infection called Bacillus. They had to take her drain tube out of her lungs. So now she has to go back weekly for a thoracentesis. That did keep her from having Chemo for a couple of weeks. Last Monday, she got that #36th treatment and ended Cycle 9.
We went yesterday and saw her Heart Doctor in New Orleans, and he was so happy with Bonnie's bloodwork and #'s. He first wants to test to see if the fluid is from heart failure or if she might have AL Amyloidosis in her Lungs.
If that is the case, he is considering Heart and Lung Transplant at the same time. That would most probably be in Dallas, Texas, he said.
We have a lot of biopsies, tests, and Dr appointments in the following months to determine the next steps.
PLEASE continue to PRAY and SUPPORT. Thank you, we know we can't do this without our Family and Friends.

We LOVE and THANK YOU. THE POWER IN PRAYER
I will update everyone as soon as some final decisions are made.

Happy Mother's Day Bonnie❤
Chemo Monday and follow up Dr appointments from Hospital stay last week.
Thank you to everyone for the PRAYERS and DONATIONS. Your support is what is helping us pay for out of pocket meds, apointments, gas and specialty protein and electrolyte drinks. Thank you so much and Happy Mother's Day. I love you.

UPDATE 4/30/22 After our trip to New Orleans to see Heart Transplant Doctor
Dr. Eisworth has been discussing Bonnie's case with Doctors around the world and there is a chance that with the Cancer/AL Amyloidosis in remission, her heart could start to soften back up. Dr. was very impressed with her Lab #'s and said that to be put on the Heart Transplant List you have to meet certain life threating criteria's and Bonnie does not meet them. He did up 2 of her Medicines and ordered special Labs to be done on her May 9th Chemo.
Bonnie is so strong, but this fight is tough on her. Emotionally and Financially.
With the help of a co-worker we did get a disability lawyer. I know it will still be a while, it is a shame that Bonnie has worked since she was 16 and now she has
Multiple Myeloma, Cardiac Amyloidosis, Congestive Heart Failure, AL Amyloidosis, Plasma cell neoplasm, Embolic stroke involving left middle cerebral artery, Bone Pain, Coagulopathy, Bilateral pleural effusion, Thrombocytosis, NSTEMI, Prolonged Q-T interval on EKG, Essential hypertension, Infiltrative cardiomyopathy, Cardiac arrest with successful resuscitation, COPD, Sustained VT, Acute on chronic diastolic , Syncope cardiogenic, Menorrhagia, S/P life Vest discharge, Postoperative pain, Acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, AICD discharge, Hypotension, Hematemesis with nausea, Anxiety, Right upper quadrant abdominal pain, Abnormal CT scan of lung, Elevated Troponin, Pulmonary emphysema, Diarrhea in adult, Intractable vomiting, Severe malnutrition Immunodeficiency, Decreased coordination, Right hemiparesis, Bilateral leg weakness, Centrilobular emphysema, defibrillator discharge, Chest Pain
She has been to 2 appointments and still denied, due to she is not disabled, Really??????
GOD, FAMILY AND FRIENDS is the only way we are able to continue to do and get what Bonnie needs to get through this Journey.
THANK YOU GOD

UPDATE 4-12-22 THE JORNEY TO A HEART TRANSPLANT -THE POWER IN PRAYER -THE SUPPORT FROM FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Tomorrow was start our new Journey with seeing a specialist from New Orleans. We know this is the beginning of a process to get Bonnie ready for the new heart and then waiting for one. We are trying new Meds and having to make many trips to New Orleans. Emotionally and Financially this is very very hard on Bonnie and the Family. Please Pray and Support Bonnie, she really needs her Friends, Family and Support MORE THAN EVER. I will update after we meet with Doctor and we know the next steps. Thank you and we love you. We haven't and can't do this alone.

UPDATE 4-6-22 BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT PUT ON HOLD, HEART TRANSPLANT FIRST
The picture I posted is of Bonnie's Kelli's Kloset Family. This is 5 Family's that Kelli's Kloset help last Christmas.
Mrs. Glenda(In the wheelchair)The most beautiful, kindest, loving and giving Lady that volunteered every since my Mom had Cancer and we visited her then and now with Bonnie's cancer, passed away last week. Time with our Family and Friends is so precious.
Yesterday was so emotional, but today we get up and move forward to win the fight!!
After a month of getting clearance's and preparing for the bone marrow transplant Cardiology would not clear Bonnie. She is too much of a high risk so she has to get the heart transplant first. She will see a Heart Specialist Doctor from New Orleans (waiting on the appointment date) She will continue to do Chemo on Mondays for now to stay in remission. They hope to change it to every other Monday if her #'s stay good. I have reached out to Social Workers that deal with Heart Transplant's, as we are totally in the dark about this procedure. I hope within the next week or two the Doctors will have a treatment plan and know when she will be getting her new Heart. Please continue to Pray and Support Bonnie. This was HARD NEWS for Bonnie and Family. The only thing we know for sure right now is, God has his hand on Bonnie and She is with us for a reason .
WE WANT TO THANK ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS FOR EVERY PRAYER AND EVERY DOLLAR!
WE COULDN'T DO THIS WITHOUT YOU!
WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS...THANK YOU!! I will update as soon as I know any information.

UPDATE 4-1-22
Thank you ALL of my Family and Friends. So many text and calls about Tuesdays, New Orleans appointments and tests.
In was a good day with my strong and beautiful daughter. Very hard and painful for her, but she keeps praying , smiling and thanking everyone for helping her. They did a lot of talking about waiting on the bone marrow transplant and doing the heart transplant first due to how much her heart has weakened over the past few months. We will not know until Wednesday and they will go over all the tests with us and hopefully give us concrete plans. I think the past couple of weeks has been the most emotional time for us all. They gave her another 2 Clearances that she has to get and some experimental meds that aren't covered by Insurance. If anyone has any experience or advice on how we can fight for her disability, PLEASE contact me. It is so unfair she has worked since she was 16 and now she can't get disability when she truly needs it. It breaks my heart to see her worry about finances when she is fighting for her life. I will update after our Wednesday New Orleans 16 appointments/tests. Thank you for the donations, They/You are a BLESSING every $ is appreciated and used to help Bonnie fight this horrible disease. We love and thank you, we couldn't do this alone. PLEASE KEEP PRAYING

Good Morning Friends and Family, You'll are asking me how is/what you can you do to help Bonnie.
She is doing pretty good. She has been out of the Hospital 9 days YAYYY
On her last appointment they doubled her Heart Rhythm Med and she has been feeling under the weather and not eating well. We called the Doctor and she lowered it a little so we are hoping she feels/eats better soon.
As for as her treatment we have a very BUSY first of next week Monday @ BR getting her final clearance's for the transplant, Tuesday @ NO for an all day of appointments and test and Wednesday @ BR paperwork.
We are so thankful for all the Support and Prayers. The picture I decided to post is to look ahead at Easter April 17th and PRAY that Bonnie will be doing well and enjoying Easter with her Family and Friends!
I have Friends asking for address to send gift cards, gas cards and checks, You can mail them to me @ 33018 Percy Young Road, Walker La 70785 or directly to Bonnie @ 12135 Mockingbird Lane Walker La 70785. Without all of the Prayers and Support that is helping us pay for uncovered clearance's for the transplant, Medication that isn't covered and gas I don't know how we would have managed. Just keeping a roof over her head/bills/personal items and food has been a struggle. We pray that they will one day see that she is disabled and she will get approved. But till then we will keep on doing our BEST, SO THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR ALL THE HELP!

I just had to post this picture of Bonnie at Chemo, this was taken 3 days after her defibrillator shocked her twice and was in the Hospital for 4 days in a lot of pain. in the Hospital she had test after test, adjusting meds and pacemaker. She wanted to thank our Family, Friends, Friends of our Family and Friends, For ALL the Prayers and Donations, the LOVE everyone has given to us is so AMAZING. She wanted to send out a HUDGE thank you to Mrs. Peggy at Kelli's Kloset for always helping her pick out clothes and accessories free of charge for Cancer Ladies and Children, It is the most beautiful and amazing boutique. With her 30 weight gain, due to steroids' and her 40 pond loss due to throwing up and nausea. Without Kelli's Kloset she would not be able to get dressed up and feel beautiful everyday. Next Tuesday is the first, of MANY long days in New Orleans. She will see a Cardiology, get a whole body Pet CT, another bone marrow test and see a Psychiatry. ALL IN ONE DAY. Please keep PRAYING and ANY AMOUNT is needed and appreciated. We will update after our NOLA Trip, THANK YOU EVERYONE WITH ALL OF OUR HEARTS

UPDATE: March 8th Bonnie was admitted to the Hospital due to her defibrillator discharging twice at home. Once she got to the ER it discharged again. She was admitted and it discharged again in ICU. The Doctors put her on more meds to control the rhythm of the heart and she seemed to be doing well and discharged 10th. Then March 15th her defibrillator discharged again and Doctor said to come to Office. They put her on another med, but before she even had a chance to try it she had another discharge and I brought her to the ED. They did a lot of test and a procedure on her that will get the pacemaker to get the rhythm down and not have to shock her. They also had to put her on a blood pressure med( because the new meds are making blood pressure drop so low) and they put her on a few new rhythm meds. She is feeling much better and will be discharge this afternoon( March 18th). Please Support and Pray for Bonnie through this very hard time. Thank you with all of our HEARTS for helping us to help her get the care she needs to get well!!!

My journey started July 15th, with 50/50 chance to make 6 Months
2021
While at work I had my first Heart Attack and was admitted 7/15-18. The next few weeks was a lot of Office Visits trying to see what was going on including a Bone Marrow Biopsy in New Orleans. Then on August 3rd I had a stroke on the left side of the brain and was admitted into Baton Rouge Ochsner Hospital, while doing many tests they discovered that there was a blood clot in the right side of my brain and within 15 minutes I was on the helicopter to New Orleans to get it removed. They were successful and I was discharged Aug 9th. For the next few weeks, I had many Dr and Therapy appointments. Until on Aug 27th I got admitted into the Hospital again for hurting in my stomach and bleeding. The next couple of weeks was Dr’s appointments from New Orleans to get me ready for my Chemo Infusions. Sept 10, I started my many Chemo Infusion’s, Sept 17, Sept 24, Oct 1, Oct 8, Oct 15, Oct 22, Oct 29, Nov 5, Nov 12, Nov 19, Nov 26, and Dec 3. Dec 9th went in for a routine outpatient female surgery. After getting discharged and home in bed I had another heart attack, and it discharged my life vest. I was admitted for emergency pacemaker and defibrillator placement, and I was discharged on the 10th. On Dec 17, I was able to get a Chemo Infusion but on the 18-22 I was admitted again for Pneumonia. After getting discharged I did another Chemo Infusion on Dec 29.
2022
The New Year stars off rough. Jan 5-8, 10-12, 15-17, 23-24 and 25-28, I was Hospitalized for Nausea, throwing up and not being able to hold anything down. With a lot of Prayers, the Doctors have been able to get the nausea, throwing up and eating a lot better. Feb 7, 14, 21 and 28 I did my Chemo Infusions.
Now is the BLESSED part: 8 Months later
Now I am in remission and ready to get my Stem Cells/Bone Marrow Transplant.
This is a lot more than we ever imaged I must be cleared by the long list of Dr’s that I already see and some that I haven’t yet. That includes dentist, Gastro, Oncology, Gynecology, Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Hematology, Neurology, and I have a lot of scans and test that are required in the next couple of Months to be cleared for the procedure. We have many all-day trips to New Orleans before I get admitted, Mar 29, for a pet scan, another bone marrow and psychology assessment. April 6 evaluation. April 28 consents. May 1,2,3, injections and then on the 4 I will have last injection and a line placed in me. May the 5 and 6 collection and I am admitted on May 8. Surgery is May 10. I will stay in Hospital for at least 14 days and then Me and my mom will stay at the Hope Lodge, which is about ½ mile from the Hospital until June 10.
I can’t even begin to list and thank all the people that have Prayed and Helped us. I have many Friends and Family asking how they can help and up to now we have been trying to handle most of the expenses ourselves. The out-of-pocket expenses are really piling up with Meds and some of the visits that I have to have to be cleared for the Surgery that aren’t covered by Insurance and have to be paid at the time of Service.
Thank you, GOD, Luke 6:12 The Power in Prayers
Thank you everyone for all the love, support, and PRAYERS through My Journey. We are truly Blessed
We will keep everyone updated:
