Wyatt and the Bignell family

On behalf of Wyatt Bignell, my 16 year old cousin, and his family consisting of Elizabeth (Mum), Wayne (Dad) and Gwen (little sister) to help support Wyatt's transition from ICU, rehabilitation and beyond after Wyatt had an accident Christmas Day 2024, which has left him unable to walk.

He is currently in the very early stages of navigating healing. Wayne and Elizabeth are now with him around the clock, supporting him during this next chapter of life, day by day. This has become more challenging as the weeks go by, and ultimately with decisions being made career wise for his parents to ensure Wyatt has his support network at all times.

As people close to the family will know, Wyatt plays for the Kilsyth Cougars and is a keen sportsman, musician, and student. This situation is life-changing for him.

While navigating this change, we have set up this GoFundMe page with permission from his parents to hopefully relieve the burden of financial stress, such as household bills, medical bills, hospital expenses, and Wyatt's needs, so they can focus on what is most important, Wyatt, and of course, their younger daughter, Gwen.
