Wyatt Batchelor Aviation Excellence Scholarship
Donation protected
On Wednesday March 2nd, our team at Crew Aviation lost a beloved colleague, captain, co-pilot, A&P Mechanic, Director of Maintenance, manager, mentor, and friend, when the vehicle he was driving, was struck in a head on collision.
His family, friends, the aviation community and the Washington County community he called home, will grieve the loss of Wyatt Batchelor. On a personal level, Tim Peace lost a best friend of 40 years and a trusted, loyal team member. As a way to honor Wyatt and his love of aviation, a scholarship fund has been established for future generations.
Wyatt was a commercially rated ATP pilot and Aircraft & Powerplant mechanic. In honor of his dedication and love of aviation, we have established a scholarship fund for future generations of aviation professionals. This scholarship will be funded through direct donations and future fundraising events. The parameters of the scholarship will be established and selection will be by committee review of application, essay, and recommendation. The current management of the fund will be made by Tim Peace, COO of Crew Aviation and Shannon Weidekamp, CSIO of Crew Aviation. Future direction of the fund will be forthcoming, within an individual 501 (c) foundation or a Community Foundation.
Fees associated with will be paid, your entire donation amount will go to the scholarship.
