Wyatt Boatright's Battle with ALS

Donation protected
To Friends and Family,

For the past year, Wyatt Boatright has been battling a serious medical condition. In early 2017 Wyatt began experiencing problems with his fine motor skills, which made it difficult for him to do simple things such as holding a cup or catching a ball. He began to experience more serious symptoms such as fatigue, loss of strength, difficulty speaking, along with uncontrollable body tremors.

In early March 2018, Wyatt’s symptoms became so severe he was forced to stop working, which affected his medical benefits through his employer.

In April 2018, Wyatt and his family received the devastating news that doctors had diagnosed him with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease. Wyatt and his family were devastated by the diagnosis and are now left wondering what the future will hold.

Wyatt currently lives in Corona, California with his wife, Justina, and their three boys, Landon (14), Austin (11) and Hudson (10). Wyatt’s parents, Ron and Suzanne, his brothers, Justin and Noah and their families, also live in the southern California area. The Boatright family is very strong and close-knit, but no one should be expected to go through this alone.

Wyatt’s diagnosis will require serious on-going treatment and an extremely difficult road ahead. Since Wyatt can no longer work, his ability to support his family and pay medical bills will be greatly affected. He is an extremely humble person and recently told us that he didn’t want to be a burden to anyone. Wyatt would never ask for it, but he needs our help now more than ever.

Thank you so much for your generosity and support.  Your outpouring of love and support has been overwhelming and gratefully appreciated by the Boatright family.
