Wyatt Bowman

Wyatt Bowman was born on August 19th, 2022, at 12:11 am in Boise, ID. His loving parents, Alaina and Jake and sweet big sister Mila had been anxiously awaiting his arrival for 41 weeks. Upon his birth, it was discovered that he had an undiagnosed diaphragmatic hernia, a birth defect where an opening in his diaphragm caused his abdominal organs to push up into his chest cavity. The doctors determined it was in Wyatt's best interest to quickly life flight him to Seattle for emergency surgery. Jake was able to accompany him while heartbroken Alaina had to stay in recovery in Boise. Brave Wyatt went into surgery at only a few hours old.

Sadly, sweet baby Wyatt passed away on his birthday at 5:17 pm. Alaina was able to be discharged from the hospital and fly to Seattle in time to say goodbye.
