East London School Orchestras Festival

Wyatt Sinfonia is planning an education project with the aim of giving as many children in East London the opportunity to play in a massed orchestra alongside professional musicians. Wyatt Sinfonia musicians will work closely with school ensembles over a number of months, developing their ensemble skills. They will also be involved in working with a composer for a new commission, to be performed by all the schools and Wyatt Sinfonia. Primary schools will be involved by working on a body percussion piece, and will be able to see the opportunities available to them at potential future secondary schools they might attend.
