Wyatt Strong: Fighting 4 his Life, Please Support!

Donation protected

Hi my name is Beatriz Wilkinson, I am starting this GoFundMe page to help the most sweetest little guy you can ever meet Wyatt, my 6 year old nephew. On Saturday March 16, Wyatt Wilkinson and his father Matthew Wilkinson were in a terrible accident. His father is now out of hospital and by his side with Wyatt's Mom Tamra Shipley. My little guy was fighting for his life, he was airlifted to UW Children's Hospital and underwent immediate surgery to take pressure off his brain. Wyatt also suffered a broken clavicle, broken nose (which has been reset), and a fractured right foot. He is currently off all machines, has woken up, going through speech therapy, OT, and PT. As each day passes, and each prayer from all of you he is improving. Baby steps each day, but making great strides!

Wyatt, a student at Tower Rock Elementary, is greatly missed by his classmates, teachers, family, and friends. His class has been a wonderful support providing a wonderful array of get well cards, stuffed animals, balloons and a Hope shirt they have all worn in support of Wyatt.

Please help us raise funds to help Wyatt and his parents to help pay for the costs of medical expenses, anything he may need in the future as well as any assistance the family may need while they stay by his side for bills and missing work. 100% of all funds will go to help pay any costs they need to cover.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I will respond to all inquiries. We are posting updates daily, as he progresses.

Thank you in advance for your help and support! Please also keep us in your prayers! Need as many prayers for Wyatt!

This is what was reported on news about the accident, as far as we know:

"MUSCODA, Wis. (WMTV) - A Muscoda man and his 6-year-old son were seriously hurt in an ATV crash on Saturday.

Muscoda police, fire and EMS were called to the intersection of 2nd Street and Warehouse Street in the Village of Muscoda around 7:10 p.m. on Saturday for an ATV crash.

A 33-year-old man from Muscoda and his 6-year-old son, who were on the ATV, were seriously injured in the crash. Both victims were transported by Muscoda EMS to area emergency rooms where they both were later air lifted to La Crosse and Madison.

Witnesses say that the ATV was traveling at a high rate of speed on 2nd St. when it crashed into a trailer being pulled by a pickup on Warehouse St." ---By Mackenzie Davis
