Wyatt’s Medical Bills and Medication Cost

In February of this year, Wyatt’s band was playing a show in Eagle River, WI when he felt extremely ill. His heart was racing, and he found it extremely difficult to catch his breath. Thinking back, he thought to himself that this issue had been occurring on a regular basis. Upon returning home, he made what he thought would be a regular doctor appointment with his primary care physician. While waiting for that appointment he monitored his symptoms and continued to notice that everyday activities were extremely difficult and taxing on his heart. Coming from someone who has always been active, he felt concerned about the potential possibilities regarding his health. Upon visiting his primary doctor, she conducted numerous tests and set up an echocardiogram for him. During his echo, the technician grew concerned and notified the on-call cardiologist at the hospital. The cardiologist read Wyatt’s test and immediately sent him to the emergency room to eventually be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. More and more tests kept coming his way, including an angiogram. The test all pointed to one thing, heart failure. Normal heart function runs between 58% and 60%. Wyatt’s heart function was only 18%. Medical bills stacked up and he paid 99% of them off, however every month medication costs and follow-up doctors’ visits with specialist are astronomical. In June of this year, Wyatt accepted a position with a company and retired from law enforcement. This change brough a new health insurance plan and in September, he was told he needed a pacemaker / defibrillator. Having completed this procedure, met that he would again have to meet his deductible. This caused him to have to come up with thousands of dollars out of pocket once again. Wyatt has done so much for others, and I am asking that you help him out at this time of need. Anything helps towards present and future medical costs. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts.
