Wyatt Needs Your Help - #WyattStrong

Donation protected
On September 19th, Wyatt was in a major motocross accident where he sustained life-threatening injuries. Since Sunday, he has been heavily sedated and put on a ventilator to allow his brain and body to try and heal. It has been a delicate balance of bringing him in and out of sedation to assess his response and ability to breathe without assistance. Right now, we are all holding our breath and waiting for him to regain consciousness.

My name is Kayla. I am Marsha and Sean’s niece and Wyatt’s cousin. Wyatt has been a fighter since the day he was born. I vividly remember how he could fit in the palm of your hand when he was born, and the hours his parents spent in the NICU anxiously waiting to be able to take him home. This is when you realize how fragile life can be.

The aim is to raise $20,000 for the McQuinn Family. Your donations and generosity will help in several ways. Sean and Marsha operate their own drilling company. If they are not working, their livelihood is threatened as the business is unable to continue functioning. Having your child in critical condition is something no parent should have to face. Funds raised will allow Sean and Marsha to be available to support Wyatt in his recovery while reducing the financial strain of not being able to work while they are at his side. It will also allow Sean and Marsha to access the necessary resources so they can all heal as a family.

As you can imagine, the waiting is excruciating. Family, friends, the community, and strangers have been collectively supporting Wyatt, Sean, and Marsha with thoughts, prayers, and any other support they can offer. I am humbly putting this request out to you; if you have the means to do so, please consider donating to help this amazing family so they can focus on their son's recovery.

I know everyone has been impacted by this pandemic in different ways, so this request comes from a place of deep gratitude. Every dollar helps and will go directly to Sean and Marsha so they can best support their family's needs. This is only the first step in Wyatt's recovery. Once Wyatt wakes up, doctors will be able to determine his rehabilitation strategy.

Wyatt was born with a fighting spirit and I believe he will source that strength again to pull through. We have to believe, come together, and lean on one another.

I sincerely thank you for taking the time to read this far and for your contributions.

With love,

Kayla
