In Memory of LT Taylor

Hello, my name is Fonda, and I'm reaching out on behalf of Farah and Cole Taylor, the children of Larry Taylor, the man who lost lost his life, his home, and all his possessions in a devastating house fire on April 30th in Newman Lake. Larry was a beloved father, devoted grandfather, a cherished friend, and loyal neighbor.
Larry moved to Newman Lake in 1989, where he lived year-round and raised his two children. He taught them how to swim, fish, and respect the lake he so dearly loved. He even took a whole summer to patiently teach me how to dive… what a guy.
The home was Larry's sanctuary, a place where he found solace and peace. He would send daily photos to his children and friends, showcasing the breathtaking view that he cherished.
The day of the fire was a day of heroism, with over 40 firefighters from three counties, many of them volunteers, rushing to the scene to prevent the fire from spreading. Their efforts were not only courageous but also compassionate, as they handled the recovery of Larry’s body with the utmost respect. We owe them our heartfelt thanks for their selflessness and dedication to our community.
In the wake of Larry's passing, the outpouring of support has been overwhelming. Everyone who crossed paths with Larry remembers him for his kindness, loyalty, honesty, and servant mindset.
Because of the nature of this fire, Larry’s financial strains, lack of life insurance, and limited insurance policy, a large financial burden has fallen onto his children. We are turning to our community for support. We are humbly asking for your help to restore, rebuild, and honor Larry's memory for generations to come.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and support.
