Hi, my name is Sheila Tovar I am the daughter of the most amazing father but you all know him as Pastor Rudy Tovar aka the Missionary. My dad has preached the Gospel amongst many nations and me and my brother loved being missionary kids we even got the opportunity to live in St Petersburg Russia for almost 5 years and it was an amazing experience and I thank God that my Dad loves Gods people. He has spent his life doing the Lords work and he even went back to college and became a drug and alcohol counselor to help at risk youth well still pastoring! My dad did not ask me to do this he never asks anyone for anything but as most of you know my dad is fighting pancreatic cancer the second time around and unfortunately he had to retire due to his Illness. My dads wife Lupe is so amazing she does everything she can but now it’s getting harder and she is requiring some help. I live over 2 hours away and can’t be there everyday but if I could I would because my poppa is everything to me. Unfortunately no matter how hard my dad worked his whole life he still has to pay out of pocket for some meds and now someone to come and help a few times a week. I do all I can to help but I just want to do more and right now I just need help anything helps and it’s so appreciated. My dad has such a big heart his heart is for the people. Im not here to give a sob story but just here to say if you find it in your heart to help that’s great but at the end of the day a daughters got to do what a daughters got to do for my poppa! The Chemo is really making pops tired and so many things going on that’s too much to even share here! Anything helps! May God bless you all. Thank you in advance.
