Wynterbella’s Love & Hope

My name is Violet Skye. I am a survivor of Domestic Violence. I have decided to create a nonprofit that will help survivors of domestic violence with the resources they need to get the justice they so rightfully deserve. As a survivor of domestic violence, I know first hand how difficult it is to navigate through a broken system, feeling alone and hitting many roadblocks along the way. I had to be my own advocate because the agencies that I reached out to did not provide the legal services I needed. Abusers need to be held accountable for their crimes. The system failed me in many aspects which is why I am taking a stand to make a much needed change. Wynterbella’s Love & Hope will not only provide legal services but also a safe place for survivors to receive a large variety of services including but not limited to EMDR therapy, group therapy, massage therapy, self defense courses, and so much more. Wynterbella’s Love & Hope was inspired and named after my emotional support dog who saved my life from my abuser on several incidents.
