Film Festival in New York City

Our film, Balcony Seats, starring Juliana Pearce & Shannon Gallion, directed by Emmy Platt, with music by Magdelaine Mueller is an Official Selection of the All American High School Film Festival in New York City! There were over 1800 entries into this festival. This opportunity for us means getting to travel to New York, have our film screened in the AMC Empire Theatres in Times Square, network with other student/professional filmmakers & colleges, as well as have opportunites to win scholarship money and raise awareness of our art.
The 4 of us are all currently seniors in high school, and this will be an unforgettable experience. We plan to fund as much as possible of this trip ourselves, but just 4 tickets to the festival alone will cost $928.61, as well as plane tickets and a hotel room.
This is not the first film the 4 of us have collaborated on, and we are truly passionate about what we do. This opportunity is not only exciting for us but will be extremely beneficial in the long run of our careers.
With that said, we are asking for your support, and we appreciate it more than anyone would know. Our $2000 goal is a pretty far reach, so thank you in advance to anyone who decides to help us out with a donation!
