Help Kelsey get back on her feet!

Kelsey needs our help. She was recently diagnosed with two auto-immune diseases;  a rare and serious form of Guillain-Barré syndrome, which attacks her nerves, and Hashimoto Disease that attacks the thyroid. Before the diagnosis, she was involved in a very unhealthy relationship. She wasn't taken to the hospital until she was severely malnourished, had completely lost her ability to walk, hold a fork, or care for herself whatsoever.  Her short term memory was also severely affected.  After two months of being in the hospital in Washington, she has finally been discharged and is now living outside of Bend OR, with family. They are not only caring for Kelsey, but also for her live-in grandmother, who needs her own fare share of assistance. Luckily, Kelsey is regaining her ability to walk (currently with a walker and leg braces) but spends most of her time in a wheel chair. Through all of this, her physical and mental health have taken quite the toll, and she has a lot of work ahead of her. She has fought her way back in many ways, but still needs a lot of help. Since she won't be able to drive for a long while, our goal with this gofundme is to build her an ADA accessible apartment to live in, in Anacortes Wa, where she will be within close proximity to potential jobs, grocery stores, bus routes, parks, rehab centers, etc. Every dollar donated will go straight towards helping Kelsey regain her independence.
