Boxes for South Sudan

Here is a news clip of Joseph and his clinic.
Here is the link to Joseph's organization page.

My name is Meira Kowalski, and I am an eighth grader attending Shorecrest in St. Petersburg, Florida. I recently did a history project in school about the Lost Boys of Sudan, and I was fortunate enough to meet Joseph Deng. Joseph was a Lost Boy himself, and he now lives in New Port Richey, Florida. He has started his own organization that brings medical supplies to those in need in Southern Sudan. He takes this trip once a year and stays there for a month at a time. His story has inspired me, so I have decided to hold a medicine drive at my school to raise medicine for him to bring over. The only problem is that Joseph has to use his own money to send all of the medicine over to Southern Sudan. He said that he spends $1,300-$2,000 of his own money just to ship the boxes over there. This is why I am now sharing this information with you. I would like to help cover the costs of these packages so Joseph doesn't have to use his own money. One box under 50 pounds costs $150, and any box over 50 pounds costs $200. He leaves for South Sudan between April and May, so I would like to reach my goal of $1,500 by mid-April. One bottle of Imodium saves five lives in South Sudan. Please help and give money to this cause so that hundreds of people can live another day. Thank you.
