A Dream to Serve: Medical Mission Trip to Ghana
Donation protected
Dear friends and family,
For those who may not know me, my name is Ebube, and I am a medical student at Howard University College of Medicine. I am reaching out to all of you today with great excitement and a humble request for your support.
I have been given an incredible opportunity to be part of a medical outreach program in a rural community in Ghana this December. This initiative is made possible through the partnership between Howard University College of Medicine and the Gold Coast Medical Foundation. As you can imagine, participating in such an endeavor aligns perfectly with my passion for helping those in need.
Growing up in a rural community in southeast Nigeria, I witnessed firsthand the impact that access to healthcare can have on individuals and their communities. Foreign medical missionaries played a crucial role by providing easier access to healthcare services. Their dedication and compassion inspired me deeply, ultimately leading me to pursue medicine as my career path.
Now, it is my turn to give back—to be that inspiration for someone else who may wish to continue this good work. By joining forces with the Gold Coast Medical Foundation on this mission trip, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of those living in underserved communities like the one I grew up in.
Here's where you come into play: I kindly request your support as part of my team. First and foremost, your prayers will provide strength and guidance throughout this journey. Your well wishes mean everything to me.
Additionally, financial contributions would greatly help cover essential expenses solely for this mission project. My goal is to raise approximately $3,600 by December 5th—an ambitious target indeed! However, every contribution counts—no matter how big or small—and will bring us closer towards achieving our goal together.
Please remember that whether or not you are able to contribute financially at this time does not diminish the importance of your support or involvement; any form of encouragement means the world to me!
To make it easier, I have set up a dedicated fundraising page where you can securely make your contributions. Alternatively, feel free to reach out to me personally for more information on how you can assist.
Thank you from the depths of my heart for taking the time to read this letter and consider supporting me on this incredible journey. Together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
With warmest regards and sincerest gratitude,
