My father was diagnosed with retroperitoneal fibrosis 5 years ago. This rare inflammatory disorder has caused full obstruction around both of his ureters and one kidney. He has had 20 stent replacements and will be having his 21st this week. His stents will give way to nephrostomy tubes due to deteriorated ureters, and surgery to remove the fibrosis and/or a kidney transplant is not an option for him. My parents’ medical expenses have been extensive and will continue to be in the future. I would really like to help them raise some money to contribute to these medical expenses and any amount of donations would be greatly appreciated.
