Russell's Homecoming and Care

As some may know, on April 9th, 2023, our father Russell Bugg suffered a massive stroke and unfortunately, he now has lifelong side effects preventing him to return home and live alone as before. He had multiple emergency surgeries including a craniotomy to help prevent brain swelling and has been through months of rehabilitation and therapy at Cardinal Hill in Lexington, Ky to get him to where is being discharged to come home. We are so proud of him and excited about his progress and ready for the next phase of recovery but of course that comes with cost. He will require 24/7 care for the foreseeable future. We received many offers to help from family and friends in the past and declined because honestly, we didn't know what the future would bring or what to expect. Considering the high cost of caregivers, medical equipment and supplies, his medical bills, rent, groceries, etc., we are graciously accepting any donations to help him through this life-changing process. Thank you to all who share, donate, and most importantly prayed for him through all of this.
