Help Us Survive: A Mother's Plea from Gaza

Hello,My name is Hayat, and I am writing to you from Gaza. I am a mother of four beautiful children, and I am reaching out to you in a time of desperate need.

Our lives have become a daily struggle for survival, and I am here to ask for your help in providing the basic necessities that every human being deserves.In Gaza, life is incredibly harsh.

Our streets, once filled with the laughter of children playing, are now silent, filled with the echoes of fear and uncertainty.I live with my four children, my elderly father, and my sick mother. Our family is one of countless others suffering in Gaza, where the closure of crossings has severely limited the flow of essential goods, including food and medical supplies.

The prices of the few items that do make it through are exorbitantly high, making it impossible for families like mine to afford even the most basic necessities.

My father, once a strong and proud man, is now unable to work due to the economic collapse that has gripped our land. My mother, a loving and nurturing woman, is suffering from malnutrition. She desperately needs medical treatment that we simply cannot afford. Her condition worsens every day, and I fear for her life.As a mother, my heart breaks to see my children go to bed hungry. I try to shield them from the harsh realities of our situation, but it is difficult when there is so little to eat. The pain in their eyes is something no mother should ever have to witness. It is a constant reminder of my inability to provide for them, despite my best efforts.We are living in a time of genocide. Our people are being targeted, and our homes are being destroyed.

The bombings are relentless, and every explosion feels like it takes a piece of our souls with it. The trauma of living in a war zone has left deep scars on all of us, especially the children.

They deserve to grow up in a world where they can dream, play, and learn without the fear of violence and hunger.I am not asking for much. Just $10 can make a significant difference in our lives. It can provide us with enough food and water to get through the day. It can bring a glimmer of hope into our otherwise bleak existence.
