Jerry Darrough needs emergency surgery.

- This is Jerry's wife Kristina. As most of you know, Jerry has spent close to 50 years sitting in the seat of a dozer or tractor of some sort, and over the last 30 years as a golf course shaper. When he gets some aches and pains, he laughs and shrugs it off as "Cat Skinner Itus". Well, a few months ago, Jerry started having some digestive problems that were aggravating but not overly concerning at the time. And just like his father and grandfather would do, tried to ignore it in hopes that it would just go away. "Keep pushing" is a phrase I have learned to hate. This time it didn't go away. It progressively has got worse to the point that now it's critical. He has an obstructed intestine and a severe tear in his stomach lining that needs immediate surgery. The doctor wanted to have Jerry admitted to the hospital on Monday, but because of the laws here in Ecuador, we have to put up 50% of the estimated cost at check in, and the balance before they will allow him to leave. Unfortunately, Jerry and I have invested nearly all of our assets in our project in Ecuador and currently are not in a financial position to get this surgery he so desperately needs. I'm reaching out to Jerry's family, friends, and his golf course construction family to help us in this time of need. Also, please keep in Jerry your prayers.
