Help Our Mom Get Back on the Road

This past weekend was incredibly tough for our family. While on our way to my brother’s funeral, we got caught in a sudden rainstorm in San Benito, TX. The water rose quickly, making it impossible to drive through safely. We’re always cautious, but this happened so fast. The flood nearly swept us away.

We acted quickly to get our dogs out of the van and to safety. Thankfully, we were also able to save our valuables. Unfortunately, the van was submerged for too long and is now undrivable.

This was my mom’s only transportation. Many of you know she’s on disability and can’t work a full-time job, so she’s been doing Uber Eats to make ends meet. Without her van, she has no way to continue working.

We know everyone has their own struggles, and we don’t want to burden anyone. But if you’re able to donate—even a small amount—it would mean the world to us. Every bit helps in getting our mom back on the road.
