Sue’s Biggest Challenge Yet
Donation protected
Sue is a courageous woman, kind and hilarious - she will brighten up anyone’s day and is one of the most inspirational ladies I know.
Sue is a passionate advocate for women’s rights, a horse lover, and has been a compassionate and knowledgeable nurse for many years.
Most importantly Sue is not just my friend, but has been a wonderful friend to many of those around us. If you know Sue, you know she works hard and never ask’s for help, in-fact while facing her biggest challenges yet - Sue is still there for others, lending an ear or a shoulder.
Sue has recently been diagnosed with Cancer for the 3rd time...having already battled cancer twice in the last 3 years, she now has very little sick leave left. Sue will not be able to work while she is undergoing treatment either in Hobart or Melbourne, and will have significant costs relating to accommodation, food, general bills - in addition to medical expenses.
Though positive and ready to face this journey with a positive attitude, unfortunately this time the cancer is metastatic, meaning it has spread to other parts of her body.
In August Sue is flying to the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne to seek treatment and fight this unplanned battle.
So we ask those around us to help out. It doesn’t have to be much, but every little bit will help Sue on this challenge that she faces.
Cancer is a disease which has touched everyone’s lives in some way. We are raising these funds to help make this journey more comfortable for Sue, so money is one less thing she has to worry about. We ask that you donate what you can, nothing is too small to help this woman who has spent her life helping others , both professionally and personally.
Sue, with what we raise here, I hope will help you rest a little easier whilst fighting your hardest fight yet.
