We have made this Gofundme as our way of asking for help to stay in Adelaide and close to Dallas for the next 7-8 Weeks while he gets the care he needs in the Women’s & Children’s Hospital

He has an extremely long journey Ahead and unfortunately living 3 hours away with 3 other children means we’re currently trying to find any resources and self funding our stay in Adelaide to support and be close to Dallas while he receives the care he needs to make it to term. While also figuring out a more long term solution for accommodation, food, petrol, childcare for the other Children while not having enough Annual leave from work to cover his hospital stay. We are trying our best.

✨Our Story✨

During my Pregnancy with Dallas, I was diagnosed with Pre Eclampsia. I have had this during late stage Pregnancies before, however NEVER before 36 weeks. While on a check up @Naracoorte Hospital it was determined that very same day that I should be rushed to WCH due to blood pressure issues and severe symptoms of worsening developing Pre Eclampsia. During that night of my hospital stay at WCH the symptoms became very severe. Worsening blood pressure throughout the night even after being heavily medicated, which quickly turned to uncontrolled shaking and Seizing.

Therefore 1 day later I was induced and Dallas was born, I was given shots of steroids for his heart and lungs to develop as much as we could but due to he’s gestation he was always going to end up either in the NICU or the Special Care nursery.

Given the timing and fast very unexpected nature, both mum and Dallas have quite a bit of recovering to do. We’re just asking to alleviate some of that stress where possible
