Dear friends and family,

We are reaching out to share an update of a beloved mother, wife, daughter and friend, who is fighting an incredibly difficult battle with cancer.

In 2023 Keegan O'Brien was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of breast cancer. She immediately started an intense regime of treatment and last year, she was given a glimmer of hope when she was told her cancer was all clear, with a full pathological response to treatment.

Unfortunately, just as life seemed to be moving in the right direction, the family has been devastated by the news that this aggressive cancer has returned and progressed to a more advanced stage and location.

While the family processes this news, they must also ready themselves for the challenges ahead including the financial impact of medical treatments, everyday expenses, and caregiving. The load is overwhelming.

With their young daughter in mind, the family will be keeping some aspects of their journey private and are wanting to ensure as much peace and protection is maintained for her.

The funds raised will help ensure that the family can focus on what is most important in the days ahead.
