Christopher’s Road to Recovery

For those who don’t know Christopher, he had a motorcycle accident on Friday May 6, 2022. That is the phone call every parent dreads, however Christopher survived by the grace of God! That scene will forever stay imprinted in my mind but in the past 5 weeks I have witnessed the faithfulness of God. Christopher has a long road to recovery (12-36 months) relearning literally everything. Christopher turned 19 only 2 weeks before this accident and like all teenage boys he lived life wide open and fearless. He was just acknowledging how he had greater things to do in life when this accident happened. I know all things in God’s time not ours so I am excited to see how God uses Christopher going forward. I love the fact my boy has never met a stranger, always speaks his mind, and loves his family. Christopher was raised knowing nothing worth while comes ease so he is more than capable to face the months ahead. He is as good friend as he hoped his friends would be to him, wow he would be so impressed to know how many people are showing up for him daily! In today’s world we all get busy with the hurry hurry go attitude but the encouragement from texts, calls, letters, coffee runs is amazing from everyone. It means so much to this mama to see others love on your child. He is making small strides daily and we are excited to witness his recovery. I am thankful for my husband’s support in holding life down allowing me to focus on Christopher. Several have asked how can I help? Those that know me know how hard posting this request for help is so again anything you can do is appreciated ❤️ As always I will post updates to Christopher’s recovery on Facebook. Thank you family and friends.
