Combat Veteran’s family in need of help

Jonathan did everything he could to fight but it is with a heavy heart that we announce that he is no longer in our presence. He will continue to be in our hearts, thoughts and memories. Hi. My name is Melissa Nereu and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my cousin Jonathan. Jonathan is currently fighting for his life. He was fit and healthy until the evening of Valentine’s Day, 2/14/23. He and his family tested positive for COVID a couple days prior but that night he was encouraged to go to the ER because of swelling pain in his right arm which he thought was a blood clot. His pain scale was a 9. At the hospital he developed a fever and was then diagnosed with strep pyogenes and pneumonia. Then he took a turn for the worse. At 7PM his body started to fail him and by midnight he had to be resuscitated and he is currently on life support. His pupils are dilated and there has been no neurological response. Right now he needs a MIRACLE and all the prayers he can get. Jonathan has 5 children: Tiffany, Maxine, Jessica, Dwayne, and Ace. His wife, Thida is pregnant with their 6th child and she is scheduled to be induced on Monday. Jonathan is the sole supporter for his family and they need all the help and generosity they can get. We are circulating this in hopes of providing some relief for him and his family as well as paying for all of their medical bills.
