Donna Jones

Donna Jones has been a valued crew member at the Arlington Sweet Tomatoes since August of 2008. She was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has worked in several stores here in DFW and she now  works as our Catering Coordinator. She is beloved by all, both crew and guests. Donna is the kind of person that brightens a room up when she steps through the door with her smile, attitude, and love of life. She is strong, beautiful, and always will find the silver lining in any situation.

Donna's first battle with breast cancer was in December of 2012. Mother of three, lost her oldest son, JaQuis (Jazz), to a drowning accident in June of 2013. He was only 17, a high school football star, and about to start his senior year as captain. Through all of this, Donna remained strong and went into remission that same month. This April, Donna was again diagnosed with breast cancer as well as metastatic bone disease in her spine. She went through 14 straight days of radiation and now is in the process of chemotherapy. All of this is taking a toll on her body both mentally and physically, so she is unable to work.

We are asking that you join our Sweet Tomatoes family by participating in our Fundraiser for Donna. The fundraiser will be held at the Arlington Sweet Tomatoes all day on Thursday the 18th of June. 100% of the Sales will be donated to Donna!
