Fight for Chloe

Chloe Schafer is a sweet little 5 year old girl who has been a healthy and active child. She's in Pre-K and loves school almost as much as she loves her classmates! Her favorite things include rainbows, unicorns, My Little Pony, riding her bike and dancing. She especially loves the color pink.
She started having trouble over the summer with being clumsy, falling and having difficulty walking. Chloe saw her physician and underwent tests that revealed a tumor in her abdomen. She was admitted to Riley Children's Hospital on September 8th for further testing and then had exploratory surgery on September 11th. The tumor was found to be wrapped around some of her major vessels & organs. They diagnosed Chloe with advanced Neuroblastoma.
The plan is to undergo further tests to determine which type of chemotherapy will be most effective for her type of cancer. She will then begin her treatment which will include chemotherapy, radiation, a stem cell transplant and then surgery to remove the tumor.
Her mom, Laura, is a single mother with 4 other children (Amelia 1 yr old, Elaina 3 yrs old, Daniel 7 yrs old and Brandon 17 yrs old). Laura is a Registered Nurse and works on a Medical/Surgical unit at the local hospital. She has a supportive and loving family that's helping her with her other children.
Laura is going to be missing a lot of work due to Chloe's treatment and care. Everyone wants to help in some way and a contribution would definitely help alleviate Laura's financial burden. More importantly, Laura asks for prayers for her sweet Chloe. She has a long road and a big fight ahead of her!
