On June 13, 2015, Kiana Spencer played in the 5A-6A North - South All-Star Softball Game. Four members of the Spencer Family were severely injured while on their way home from the game. A head-on collision with a drunk driver left Marsha with a broken right foot (surgery needed) and lacerations; Destinee with facial fractures and lacerations, with the possibility of facial surgery; Kiana with a broken right foot and broken left ankle that was operated on and will require a second surgery; and Derek, who was airlifted from Shiprock to Albuquerque, New Mexico and is currently in ICU with severe internal injuries. http://www.daily-times.com/sports/ci_28309262/5a6a-softball-north-allstars-take-two-out-of-three-from-the-south

The Spencer family would like to thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time. Their recovery will be a very long process for them and their family. Please, donate what you can to help lessen the stress in their lives. The funds raised will go directly to the Spencer family to help cover the costs of hospitalization, rehabilitation therapies and helping financially since Rayfert and Marsha will not be able to work anytime soon. Thank you for your support in this trying time. May God bless you and yours!
