- On July 7th 2023 Brion Bennett was in a very bad car accident. He sustained a complete fracture of the C6-C7 region of his neck and is now quadriplegic. He will require around the clock care for the rest of his life. Luckily, his 8th cranial nerve was spared and he has maintained some function in his arms. We are facing the need to also move into a house that is tailored to his needs and possibly a vehicle adapted for Brion. Unfortunately because alcohol was involved, our insurance has decided not to pay for any of his medical care but, being a veteran, the VA has stepped up and is helping with rehab at Craig H Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital at the University of Utah. Our bill from EIRMC in Idaho falls is over 2 million. No other car or person was involved in the accident. We appreciate anything anyone can do to help. We understand if it isn’t something you can consciously do. Thank you for your consideration.
