Saving Bebe
More detail can be found here, but I'd like to share a quick story:
In 2011, Bebe was found as one of 9 pups under the abandoned house next door, apparently after her mom abandoned them all. My room mate and I saved them all to adopt out, but the last to be adopted was Bebe - by me! Or, me by her: when we took the pups out to a farm to foster them until they could be adopted, she hid behind the toilet until we got back and found her.
Since then, she's been a bundle of joy. Anyone who has met her knows she loves to be loved, loves loving and loves playing. Even now, she's bouncy and fun - still tug-of-warring with her rope and chasing her toy through the house.
But, on 8/10/2018 (10 days before my birthday) the news came that a bump on her foot is a tumor, and cancer has spread into her lymph nodes. This is operable without amputating any parts, just removing the tumor and removing the lymph nodes. Then, there will be a series of chemotherapy, described by the oncologist as a dose to help rid the cancer cells but not make her sick.
Unfortunately, the expense for these surgeries is more than my room mate (and best friend) can afford (the tests wiped out our accounts!), and now we're seeking help to save Bebe.
Many times over the years I've supported GoFundMe accounts in an array of needs, and even now I've donated to some; but, I'm also now in need to save my beautiful puppy.
Any amount will help, and your graciousness will be greatly appreciated, and our gratitude will be more than we can say. I pray that you'll find it in your heart to help us help save Bebe.
Please?
