Ukrainian Village of Owen Sound

Ukrainian Village of Owen Sound is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization centred on the belief that we must do more for Ukrainians fleeing Russian aggression. Partnered with The Rotary Club of Markdale to raise and distribute funds, the Ukrainian Village of Owen Sound directors are Lesya Chapman, Robert Cordell, Dennis Doidge and Neale Kemp.

We have entered into an agreement with the City of Owen Sound to lease 'The Rice House' in downtown Owen Sound. Partnering with multiple community organizations, our goal is to provide accommodations to assist Ukrainian families with integration into the local area and help them achieve independence. Assisting with daycare, ESL courses, employment and other needs, our organization is committed to making a real difference and helping as many Ukrainian families as possible.

All funds raised will be used in Owen Sound and the surrounding areas. Besides the fees for Go Fund Me, 100% of the funds will be used to directly support Ukrainian families in the Owen Sound Area.
