Dave's Medical Fund

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL POST POSTED BY FRIENDS OF DAVID CLEMENT.  AT THE TIME, IT WAS BELIEVED AETNA WOULD APPROVE THE TREATMENT.  THE UPDATES DETAIL HOW THE STORY CHANGED.  AND DAVE AND PAM FOUND THEMSELVES NEEDING TO RAISE ALL THE FUNDS FOR TREATMENT.

Friends and family of Dave Clement,
Through the years we have seen the generosity of the Clements. Whether helping at an orphanage in Kenya, numerous trips to Honduras to build homes, not only donating his time and labor, but using his own resources to get there. They have always put others first.
The last few years Dave has been slowed by the effects of C.I.D.P., an auto-immune disease. Recently Dave has been accepted into a trial treatment study in Chicago. The treatment will involve chemotherapy. They are excited because of the high probability of a cure. Fortunately, their insurance will cover much of the treatment. What it does not cover is travel and lodging while in Chicago.
They will have to travel back and forth numerous times.
