Jennifer

Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our GoFundMe for our beloved friend Jennifer. Jennifer is a Central telemetry tech. We couldn't be luckier to have worked side by side with such a beautiful and compassionate person.

Unfortunately, on the morning of March 7, 2022, Jennifer was involved in a horrific car accident while driving on the I-57 expressway her vehicle was rear ended. Thankfully, a trauma nurse and another good Samaritan stopped and rendered aid. Jennifer was pulled from the vehicle to safety and stabilized until the ambulance arrived.

The magnitude of this tragedy was further devastating because Jennifer was 6 months pregnant with twins. She was rushed to the hospital for emergent surgery. However, despite countless efforts, baby twins, Genesis and Exodus, did not survive. Jennifer remains in critical but stable condition, and will require more surgeries in the near future. The immense trauma, physical and emotional, that Jennifer has endured and still faces is something one can only imagine.

We'd like to tell you more about our amazing Jennifer. In spite of her health challenges with Lupus, Jennifer's fighting spirit led her to achieve her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. She then enrolled in the Maters program due to commence in September. She has worked a full-time night position to reach her goals, and inspired so many others during her journey.

I recall the day Jennifer shared the news that she expecting twins. She wanted nothing more than to be their mom, and hold them in her arms. She loved her beautiful babies with all her heart from the moment she suspected she was pregnant. Only time and God will be able to comfort her heart from such a devastating loss. Our hearts ache deeply for the loss of baby Genesis and baby Exodus, and we thank God everyday for sparing Jennifer's life.

Jennifer faces an extremely long road to recovery. We hope this fundraiser can help alleviate some of the financial hardship due to the monumental medical costs, required time off work, and funeral expenses for babies Genesis and Exodus. Jennifer is a warrior and the embodiment of a compassionate, kindhearted, and gentle being. We know Jennifer's fighting spirit will carry her through these trying times, and we will be here for her every step of the way. Any donations will go a long way to help her in this time of need.
