The Madness of Lady Bright

Donation protected
Hey everyone!!

As most of you know, I have been working on this short film, The Madness of Lady Bright, for a solid year. In my wildest dreams, I had planned on setting this account up to help raise funds for hitting the short film festival circuit. Sadly, the powers-that-be in charge of licensing rights for Lanford Wilson’s estate have not granted me permission to submit to festivals, which is rather unfortunate because it’s a really good little film, if I do say so myself.

In lieu of festivals, then, I have chosen to have a grand screening of the film at The Slipper Room in the Lower East Side, complete with the jazz band that did the music for my film as entertainment. My intention is to invite as many industry people as I can (casting directors, agents, etc.) since this is going to be my only shot for people to see it on the scale it was edited to be shown.

Any little bit would be an amazing help. And obviously, if you’re reading this, you are cordially invited to the October 17 screening. Keep an eye out on my socials for exact times!
