Help Us Honor Joey's Memory

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved son, Joseph Shane Johnston, on August 21st, 2024. He was only 22 years old and his loss has left our family devastated. Joey was a smart young man. He was always curious about how things worked and would take things apart just to see the mechanics. He brought joy and laughter to everyone he met and would even give his last dollar to a stranger because he was the most kind, generous, gentle, and caring human being. Joey will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

As you could imagine, this has been an incredibly difficult time for our family. In addition to coping with the emotional pain of losing Joey, we are faced with the financial burden of his funeral expenses. We humbly ask for your support to help us lay our son to rest with dignity and allow us to focus on grieving during this difficult time.

Any funds raised will be used to cover the cost of Joey's funeral service, including burial plot, headstone, and services. I want to thank everyone that is able to help. And everyone that has reached out with their condolences. Your prayers are felt.
