UPDATE: We are blown away by the support the community has shown for Aunt Queenie and Darvis! They are so grateful! Knowing that Queenie and Darvis must completely start over, we are going to increase the goal to $10,000 to help them even more. Thank you, and as Queenie would say, "much love!!!❤️"

To Our Beloved Community of East End, East Liverpool, and Beyond,

My name is Anthony Coles, and today, I’m reaching out on behalf of two pillars of our community, my Aunt Queenie—Carolyn Foster—and her son, my brother in every sense, Darvis Foster. In a tragic turn of events, last night they lost their home and all their possessions to a devastating fire. This home was more than just walls and a roof; it was the heart of our family and a beacon of support in the East End community.

Queenie, as she is known throughout East Liverpool, has been a mother, aunt, and so much more to me and to many of us. Her door was always open, her table always had room for one more, and she always has a word of advice and support for anyone experiencing hardship. She has dedicated her life to lifting others, never hesitating to help anyone in need. Aunt Queenie’s legacy in East End is woven into the fabric of our community, her acts of kindness echoing in the lives she's touched.

Darvis, her son, shares his mother’s spirit of community service. As a mentor and coach, he has used basketball to teach not only the game but also life skills to the youth of East Liverpool. His commitment has shaped the future of many young individuals, providing them with direction, discipline, and a sense of belonging.

The loss they have suffered is immeasurable, not just in material terms but in the memories and sense of security that were anchored in their home. It is now our turn, as a community, to give back to Queenie and Darvis, who have given so much of themselves to us. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to support them through this incredibly tough time, to help cover their immediate needs, and to aid in the process of rebuilding what was lost.

How You Can Help

Donate: Every dollar raised will go directly to aiding Queenie and Darvis in their journey to rebuild. No amount is too small.

Share: Help us spread the word by sharing this campaign on social media. The more people who know about their plight, the more support we can give them.

Support: Keep Queenie, Darvis, and their extended family in your thoughts. Messages of support and solidarity can make a world of difference.

This is more than just a fundraiser; it's a testament to the strength and unity of East End and East Liverpool. Let’s show Aunt Queenie and Darvis the same love and support they have shown us throughout the years. Together, we can help them rebuild their lives.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Anthony Coles
