McMillan Pottery Studio Fire Recovery Fundraiser
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sandi, and I am a potter in Port Elgin, Ontario, Canada. I am raising funds to help my potter friend, Robert McMillan, rebuild from an unexpected fire that has destroyed his studio. Robert McMillan Pottery represents the culmination of a full-time production potter with over 40 years of experience currently working in Stratford, PEI and offering a pottery studio/gallery/teaching space to create functional stoneware and porcelain pottery.
Just mere weeks after Hurricane Fiona decimated Prince Edward Island, Canada, Robert was just getting his studio and pottery classes back on schedule when disaster struck again. This time, though, it was a devastating fire originating from the paint shop located in the unit next door.
Robert's pottery studio is a hub of activity that not only supports several local community potters and teaches new pottery students, but is also where Robert creates and sells his own beautiful pottery.
Robert will need a large amount of funds to replace 10 pottery wheels, 5 large kilns, slab roller, pug mill, shelving, work stations, as well as numerous clays, glazes and dry materials.
Please help me help my friend, Robert, get his studio up and running again!
