Help Cheryl Keep Her Home

Hi everyone, my name is Meghan McKie and I am running this GoFundMe to raise funds for my wonderful friend, Cheryl Hynes.

Cheryl has been beset by one health crisis after another, and life is just not giving her any breaks. She's in the hospital as we speak with a liver enlarged to three times its normal size, and doctors are frantically running one test after another to find out the underlying reasons. At this point even keeping the pain under control is an exercise in futility.

Cheryl is still on her probationary period at her new job, a job she loves, and she has a great boss who has been very understanding to this point. But this isn't getting the bills paid. She has a disabled daughter at home who is unable to work, and Cheryl pays to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. She does not own a car and relies on public transportation to help keep expenses down.

Rent is coming due, as well as monthly bills, and Cheryl is unable to avoid going into arrears. She is at risk of being evicted just as a Canadian winter and Christmas are coming soon. It would be a wonderful present if we could raise enough money to see Cheryl through this period of hardship so that this worry, at least, is off her shoulders for the time being.

Cheryl is a beautiful and kind soul, with a quick wit and a quicker laugh, but that happiness is marred by severe pain and fear of the unknown. Please, please donate what you're able to, and please share.
