Support a family in crisis

Hello, I am really not sure how to start this, but I’m going to do the best I can.

My name is Alanna. I am a 21-year-old that lives with her two siblings (10 and 14) and single mother. For the past 2 and a half, 3 years, we have been dealing with abuse.

Mentally, emotionally, and sometimes physically. My mother had moved way too fast on a boyfriend she had. He moved into our place and tore our family apart. The cops were always at our house; this man was always drunk; he was crazy. He made my mom $20k in debt, and our credit scores are not that good, so when we do have to move, no place will accept us.

On March 10th, he got arrested for domestic violence against my mother. Ever since he’s been gone, everything has gone downhill even more. I had to change my hours for my job just to be able to take my siblings to school and drop/pick my mom up from work. We only have one vehicle. We fill up the gas tank (418 miles), and the same day it’s already down to 150 miles. Having to do all this running around, driving an hour back and forth from my mom’s work, it’s a lot of miles and a lot of gas.

We have been going to multiple food banks every week,, almost every day trying to get food to be able to make meals. Not being able to buy groceries is hard. God bless all of these churches doing food banks, it really does help.

Rent, we pay $2835 a month for a 2 bed 1 bath apartment. Every year our rent goes up $200. So in June, our rent will be $3135 (not including electric, gas, etc.), which is WAY out of our budget. My mom is the only one that really ‘works’ right now. I am not getting hours; she is paying for everything. One thing that sucks the most is making ‘too much’ for low income apartments, and not ‘making enough’ for normal apartments.. When the rent goes up, we will not have a place to live. This will be our fifth time being homeless, and it’s a real struggle. It has been stressful on me, but especially my mom.

We also have ESA (emotional support animals) that we are struggling to buy food, necessities, vet visits, and medicine for due to the recent events. All of it has been a roller coaster and I just want to get off.

ALL FUNDS WILL BE USED TO HELP GET US BACK OFF OUR FEET AND USED TO HOPEFULLY HELP US WITH A HOUSE!

All I want is to be able to help my family feel safe and not have to worry about if we have a place to live or not.

I know God will work something out.
