A Helping Hand for Miss Donna and Miss Becky

Miss Donna, beloved sister of Miss Becky as well as a Kirk Room 4 teacher, has been in the hospital since July 12 when she went in for spinal surgery. An unfortunate series of events caused Miss Donna to end up in the ICU where, until today, she has been fighting for her life. Now, they are moving Miss Donna to a long term health care facility where they hope to begin rehabilitation. Donna has a long road of recovery in front of her, but we know with the love and support of her Kirk community, she will keep fighting.

Miss Becky has been by her side since day one, keeping the faith and hoping for a miracle. She will now have to make the long commute to downtown L.A. to see Donna. In addition, Becky has been managing Donna's household, which includes caring for her pets as well as her finances. It has been incredibly difficult journey. We are reaching out to our Kirk community in Miss Donna's time of need to ask for help for both her and Miss Becky.

Please keep both Donna and Becky in your thoughts and prayers. We look forward to the day when we see Miss Donna's beautiful smile back at Kirk.
