Sylvia's Cancer Journey

Hi everyone, my name is Norma Longoria and I am establishing this Go Fund Me account page to support my dear sister-in-law, Sylvia De Leon, through her cancer journey.

After months of constant pain, Sylvia was recently diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer--a disease that took her own mother's life when Sylvia was just 4 years old. Upon hearing the devastating news, she has had the support of her loving husband, Jesse, her sisters, as well as her in-laws--The De Leon Family.

Sylvia is kind-hearted and goes above and beyond for her family and friends. Although she and Jesse have no children of their own, she often helps her nieces and nephews in their time of need. She enjoys all kinds of sports, especially watching her favorite team, the New England Patriots, play football.

Sylvia will be undergoing a complete hysterectomy mid-February in a San Antonio woman's hospital and will likely need further treatments to completely rid her of this cancer.  As all medical procedures and treatments go, this can become quite costly in a very short amount of time.  There are also traveling, gas, and lodging expenses that need to be considered.  She is not employed at this time and her husband, Jesse works in the maintenance department for the Robstown Independent School District.
