Independance for Jim
Donation protected
My brother Jim was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme, a terminal form of brain cancer on August 8th. He was given 15 months to live.
We are hoping that his family and friends can come together to help pay for the cost to install a shower on the main floor of his home as well as install other improvements that will help him remain in his own home and live the rest of his life as independent as possible.
Your donation and prayers for him, his wife Lori and daughter Sabrina are very much appreciated .
Thank you!
Jim is 45 years old. He has a wife Lori of 21 years and a daughter Sabrina that will be starting her senior year of high school soon . They say cancer does not discriminate and now we know that could not be true. As friends of Jim, you know him as a fun loving and active member of the Omaha Jeep Club, a competitive marksman and martial arts enthusiast. In just a matter of 3 weeks, all of our lives have been shaken to their core with this devastating news.
The tumor is located on the part of his brain that controls motor function. Currently, his ability to walk is impaired. We are hopeful that with therapy and treatment, Jimmy will be able to retain his independence for some time. However, he will eventually lose some motor function that will limit his ability to do more advanced movements like climbing stairs.
