Marlene's Medical Bills
Donation protected
Hi friends and family, some of you may know and some may not, but in September Marlene was diagnosed with Endometrial cancer. Before the year ended, she underwent surgery to have the mass removed and once she recovered from surgery she started chemotherapy. The chemotherapy has been rough on her causing extreme nausea and other very unpleasant side effects, but she is fighting and not giving up.
While Marlene has insurance, she also has a high out of pocket deductible, which restarted January 1. Once chemo is over, Marlene will begin radiation therapy for another year (which if you’re keeping track means the yearly out pocket expenses start all over AGAIN). Marlene lives on fixed income and things are tight. The ongoing medical bills are extremely stressful to her. We want her to focus her full attention on getting healthy and not worry about the bills that are rolling in and adding up really quickly. Marlene is always the first one to give to someone in need and quick to donate when asked. In her time of need, we were hoping all of her family and friends could rally behind her and show her that we have her back! Every little bit helps and we know Marlene would be incredibly grateful for any amount to help alleviate some of this stress.
