As a parent, short of losing a child, the hardest thing to do is see your child hurt & in pain and know there’s nothing you can do to fix it for them. It is my hope that raising money to help Little Jamie will ease some of his stress so he can concentrate on making a full recovery…

On Tuesday, Sept 19, 2023, our son, Jamie Blanchard II, was hurt while working on a heavy piece of farm equipment. The large machine fell on him causing severe injuries to his back - T11 compression fracture, T12 burst/shattered based on preliminary diagnosis. He was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Waycross then transferred to Memorial in Savannah. We are currently waiting for an update from the neurosurgeon but anticipate he will need surgery to try to repair the damage and prevent paralysis.

Anyone that knows Little Jamie knows he is an amazing man who loves hard, works even harder to provide for his family and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. If you are able, please help us give him some support so he can focus on getting better. Any amount that you can give would be appreciated. Please know that I will cover all fees charged by this platform so that Jamie will receive 100% of all donations.

UPDATE:

Little Jamie underwent surgery late Thursday afternoon. The surgeon was able to fuse all of the affected vertebrae. There is also some ligament damage that will take time to heal. He has a rough road ahead but a full recovery is the goal and we know God is the ultimate Healer!!

We truly appreciate all of the messages, thoughts, prayers and donations that have been coming in. Little Jamie will be out of work for an unknown length of time while he recovers from this accident so every dollar given will help.
