On December 11th/2020, Warren (Beach) Thompson, a Husband, Father, Poppa and friend suffered a stroke/ basal ganglia hemorrhage. Due to the instincts and quick actions of his daughter Gabby, Warren was rushed to hospital. Unfortunately because of the stroke/basal ganglia hemorrhage. Warren could not receive the stroke medications to lessen the damage. Warren has speech, language and mobility issues as a result of the stroke. This fund is to help address renovations at his home so he can have a safe and comfortable living situation when he is released from Shaver hospital. The family home currently has an upstairs bathroom, this will not be accessible for Warren upon his arrival home. A main floor bathroom needs to be designed and built to suit Warren’s specific physical and medical needs. These renovations need to begin ASAP because Warren has a release date of mid to late January 2021. This has been an extremely trying time for his family, as covid and the holidays have not made the situation any easier. Candy and family have been working tirelessly to advocate and ensure Warren’s every need is being met despite not being able to physically be with him. Candy and Warren are extremely grateful for all the support, kind words, phone calls and daily messages from friends and family. This has lifted their spirits and provided them comfort and strength.
