Natalie's Breast Cancer Fund

On December 27th Natalie got into a car accident that caused her to break her left hand. It was a spiral fracture so she had to have surgery. At the time Natalie was working as a Blackjack dealer, so because she broke her hand (and since she hadn't worked there for a year yet, she didnt qualify for any leave) she lost her job. A couple weeks later, Natalie was showering and noticed a lump in her left breast. On January 25th she was able to get in to see her OBGYN and after doing an examination, the doctor was concerned and sent a referral to OU Breast Imaging. On January 30th Natalie had her Mammogram, ultrasound, and biopsy done. Today we got the results back that Natalie, at only 31 years old, has Grade 2 Invasive Lobular Breast Cancer. Because of the size of the tumor (2.5 cm) that alone puts her in at least stage 2A. Obviously between breaking her hand, losing her job, not having insurance, and raising four children... that alone was difficult for her... but now adding in cancer, she is going to need all the support she can get. While she is currently putting in applications to receive aid to cover some of the costs, we obvioulsy want to try and remove as much of the financial burden as we can from her so she can just concentrate on getting well. No amount is too little, and if you can not help financially we could always use kind words of encouragement.
