The morning of January 28th will forever be etched in our memories as the day we experienced an unfathomable loss. Christopher Rivera was a loving son, father, and forever partner to his girlfriend, Karley. Chris was taken from us all way too soon and now his family, especially his four very young children, Nataleah (9), Julius (6), Giovanni (4), and Nasir (1), have to adjust to a new life without their Dad who was the beat of their hearts and their sole provider.
From the beginning of their relationship, Christopher and Karley found a great work/life balance for their family as Chris worked tirelessly day in and day out to provide, Karley took on the role of Mom for the children without hesitation. With the sudden loss of Christopher, Karley and Jo Ann – Christopher’s mother, will continue to raise the children together in their home. Jo Ann and Karley are distraught, to say the least, as they try to console the children and wonder how to provide the stable home life the children will need going forward. The challenges they face are insurmountable as they navigate this tragedy together.

A celebration of life service for Christopher will be held on Thursday Feb. 4, 2021 at 1:00PM in the chapel of Byrd & Flanagan Funeral Service
